Czech and Slovak Club of  Greater Kansas City

The Czech and Slovak Club of Greater Kansas City cordially invites you to attend a dinner/reception on Saturday, April 14, 2007. We will be welcoming Andrej Droba, Slovak Deputy Chief of Mission, from Ambassador Kacer’s office in Washington, DC and Gail Naughton, President and CEO of the National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library in Cedar Rapids, IA. The purpose of their visit is to attend the official unveiling of the “Tragedy of the Slovak Jews” exhibit at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park. Prior to the exhibit, all club members are invited to attend this special dinner and greet our guests on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Accurso’s Italian Restaurant in Kansas City.

Time: 6:00 PM until 8:30PM
Location: Accurso’s Italian Restaurant, 5044 Main St., K.C., Mo. 64112
Cost: $20 per person (to be paid at the door) – Includes family style dinner, salad, bread & soft drinks. Cash bar for alcoholic beverages.

The club has reserved a separate room for all members and guests. Please come and hear Andrej discuss current events in the Slovak Republic. Gail will also be updating us on current and future programs at the museum in Cedar Rapids.
